provider of outdoor maintenance and beautification
products for home, recreation, and commercial landscapes
around the world.
Single
Sign-On Problem: Toro
provides many secured web sites to their distributors,
dealers, and partners. Unfortunately each web site
has its own security system which requires users
to remember several user I.D.s and passwords. Solution: Twin
Cities Solutions is working with Toro to
implement Entrust GetAccess which will
provide single sign-on for the end users.
The first phase of the project involves
migrating all of the extranet user accounts
from MySQL to an LDAP-based authentication
system. The project has included:
Design of the LDAP schema
Configuration of the web server
Creation of web sites to administer
the user accounts
Migrating affected web applications
to LDAP for user information
